Not awful, but wouldn't recommend or go back tbh Positive: Overall, the apartment was fine and properly equipped. Very nice size. Location was good for my purpose. Negative: First of all, the contract. I quit using AirBnb long time ago because of all the "hidden" costs and requirements, that you really need to read the small letters to be aware of. This is similar. You think you already know all the rules when booking, but no, they will direct you to a web to sign a contract, with additional rules and details. Then they give you access to the platform with the "information" about the apartment, where they tell you that having bugs like roaches is normal, so you have to be ok with it, among other things. The staff was not really helpful. They operate with automated messages that really don't seem to consider the specific case. My flight arrived early, so I was in front of the apartment requesting early check in less than an hour before the check in time (which is already 4pm!!). My request was rejected almost immediately with an automated message saying that there were people cleaning the place. Understandable, right? Well, no, because it was not true, as no one came out. So I had to wait in the street with all my luggage to get in at 4pm. Then the apartment. As mentioned before, generally ok. However, I cannot say that it was perfect. It was like 7/10 clean, acceptable but with dust. Mattress was mediocre and pillows very uncomfortable. Then the check out. As an Airbnb, they expect you to take out the trash (I forgot to do this btw) and generally leave it clean (weren't the 5 hours between check-in and check-out to clean the apartment thoroughly??). In summary, not awful, but wouldn't recommend or go back tbh.
